I love people watching. Body posture is the most fascinatingly unconscious statement of our innermost thoughts.

Summer at the beach is a curious time of year where we discard our inhibitions, strip off our clothes and wander around quite happily right next to total strangers!

This painting was done from a series of photographs I took while at the beach recently. I loved the brightly coloured umbrellas and the play of light they cast on the various bodies below.
