Cafe in Silves

I painted this one in my studio following an early morning visit to a local town on the Algarve called Silves. The sun was just coming up and cast a gorgeous shadow down this very pretty street.

I wanted the awning to glow with light so I used bronze leaf with my oils to depict sunlight.

The original has already been sold but Limited Edition Prints are available.
