Big Sky No1

Any visitors or residents of the Algarve must have noticed how big the sky seems here compared to the northern hemisphere countries.

Skies are notoriously difficult to paint due to their constantly changing composition and light but after a visit to the beach of the west coast I was determined to try to capture how small I felt under something so vast and powerful.
