Praia da Luz

I painted this scene in-situ on a beautiful early winter's day. I took two of my students with me to paint alongside me. I chose the spot as I loved the huge concrete balls that were laid by the local council to stop people parking on the grass. They made a perfect lead 'in' to my composition.
