Crossings

A couple of years ago I was commissioned to create a cover design for a novel by Allie Creswell called ‘Crossings’.

The story centres on an old pedestrian bridge across a river in a park on the outskirts of an industrial town in the north of England. I started by sketching my idea and submitting it to the author before starting on the painting.
