Stork

Each day on my way to my workshop I pass a community of stalks. I've tried to paint them many times but I can never get their angular shapes to fit comfortably onto the box-like shape of a canvas. They are meant to be free of constraints so to satisfy my longing to recreate one I decided to build one out of clay and steel.

Air-dry clay and steel.
