Bangkok Skyline

During a recent visit to Thailand we stayed in a high rise hotel in the city of Bangkok and was amazed at the view out of our window. I tried to sketch it but got so confused by the complicated 3-point perspective that I vowed to spend more time in my studio when I returned to paint this really challenging view.

I have a YouTube video showing the amount of work that was involved working out the vanishing points of each of the buildings.

This piece is now sold.
